Kevin Kuo is a clinician-investigator in the Red Blood Cell Program at Toronto General Hospital, University Health Network. His clinical focus is on rare congenital hemolytic anemias and his research focuses on the impact of white matter changes on neurocognitive outcomes in sickle cell disease, strategies to optimize red blood cell exchange transfusion, genetic modifiers and novel therapies in iron overload and hemoglobinopathies.
